phlyMail 3.06.00 released

Postby mso » 21.03.2007 07:44

Last night we have published phlyMail 3.6.0.

This build is available (for Lite) at http://phlymail.com/en/phlymail/lite/download/ and (for Personal Edition / MessageCenter) the Customer Service as installable or core build.

Things added in this version:
  • MessageCenter now includes a file manager, which offers the basic functionality to store and manage files within phlyMail.
  • Mail attachments can be sent to the file manager.
  • Mail attachments of the format ICal / VCal can be sent to the calendar.
  • Files from the file manager can be sent through email.
  • Completely rewritten mail list output. This results in:
    • slightly faster and smoother output, since less data is transferred between server and browser
    • Mail selections are kept even after doing mail operations, e.g. mark mails as read.
    • Mails can be grouped
    • Free order of the fields in the listing
    • Order by / group by settings are stored on a per-folder-basis
    • You can now mark mails as read after a given amount of time
  • Mails can be edited as new
  • The contact list has been rewritten, too, similar to the mail list, which allows some of the new things to be used with the contact list, too.
  • Users can now have multiple calendars
  • Much better date and time selection when editing an event
  • The POP3 server now fully supports RFC 2449.
  • Users can now define the time zone they are in.
  • As usuasl we took the time to clean up the source code where necessary.
  • AutoUpdate now offers the last stable version in parallel, when the most current version is marked as beta.
  • The AutoUpdate client offers a link to a ChangeLog again
  • Bugs showing up in the Betas were fixed.
  • MessageCenter allows additional external authentication against an IMAP or POP3 server.
