We are currently working on PHlyMail 3.3, which will bring a lot of cool new features and really many bug fixes.
On top of the list is IMAP. Besides the full access to all available folders of an IMAP account PHlyMail will allow for a cached mode, which is drastically faster than the uncached mode.
There's no limit in the number of IMAP profiles defined (except the Lite edition, where there's only one IMAP account).
IMAP accounts will be included seamlessly into the folder structure of PHlyMail.
Furthermore PHlyMail will be prepared for the new mail server, which will be released shortly after version 3.3. This commercial addon module allows autonomous operation of PHlyMail as a self-contained mail system. Features provided are:
- POP3 server for accessig the inbox folder of PHlyMail
- SMTP server for delivering mails for PHlyMail users
- SMTP relay to allow PHlyMail users to send out mails over the PHlyMail server
As well as other addon modules, the mail server will be available for alle PHlyMail products. The specific pricing will be announced shortly.
Besides these big feature enhancements we will introduce many small improvements. As an example we refer to the folder context menu, which acts as an successor to the quite inferior "folder management" menu and completely replaces the latter. Furthermore there will be support for the Russian language as of the new release.
Updating to 3.3 will be free of charges to existing customers.
